2. Simple Past Tense<br />

152. What is <strong>the</strong> past tense of <strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g words: leave, live, have, go, eat, is,<br />

swim, run, wake, see, s<strong>in</strong>g, meet, <strong>and</strong> watch?<br />

153. Pronounce “changed, wished, washed, watched, s<strong>to</strong>pped, walked.” They<br />

are pronounced like <strong>the</strong>y end with a –ta, <strong>and</strong> have no sound -- only air.<br />
