Two buildings are being constructed at the<br />

Midtown Center in front <strong>of</strong> WalMart along<br />

Highway 146. One will be finished this fall and<br />

ready for new businesses to move in, and the<br />

other will be complete next spring.<br />

Scrap It Plus has moved down the street into the Marketplace on Main, 913<br />

Main St. This scrapbooking emporium is packed with everything you need<br />

to create beautiful scrapbooks <strong>of</strong> memories, homemade greeting cards and<br />

all kinds <strong>of</strong> craft projects. Find supplies for your next Pinterest project here.<br />

Mobil Wash & Wax can remove tar, bugs and sap from your<br />

vehicle. Also go to them for help removing carpet stains and<br />

odors in your car. Make an apointment at 641-990-9796.<br />

Montgomery Sandwich Shop, 712 Sixth Ave, has<br />

phenomenal strawberry malts and root beer floats. Ice<br />

cream goes well with their signature loose meat sandwiches.<br />

<strong>Grinnell</strong>-Newburg Schools rolls out their 1:1 laptop program this fall.<br />

Each student in the upper grades receives their own laptop to use for<br />

assignments in class and at home.<br />

community wayfinding project. Plans are<br />

underway to construct signs that will help<br />

located on Horshoe Drive across from<br />

HyVee and the other is at 720 Fourth Ave.<br />

<strong>Grinnell</strong> Games hit 902 participants in 2012.<br />
