As usual, Gstaad’s top chefs and
waiters will be joined by some of
the gastronomy world’s current
favorites, such as Andreas
Caminada, Gault Millau cook of
the year 2008 with 18 points.
Caminada hails from Fürstenau
near Osnabrück in Lower Saxony,
also known as the ‘smallest city in
the world’. There, Caminada runs
a hotel and restaurant in a
converted château, the Hotel
Schaustein. On July 14, he will be
preparing his Saveurs menu,
supported by Richard Mebkhout
and team at the Grand Hotel
Bellevue. Later that evening,
Caminada will host an after
dinner drinks party in the hotel
bar and will also be helping to
cure residual hangovers the next
day during breakfast up on the
13 high quality 4-colour pictures by
Christoph Aegerter, Jörg Baumann, Ivan Inäbnit,
Fred Rölli, Robert Schneiter and Frank Müller

Another Saveurs excursion will
take place on July 15 with lunch
prepared by André Jaeger,
including transfer and lifts up to
the Refuge la Quille du Diable
on the Glacier des Diablerets.
Other highlights include an
evening at the Chesery with
Robert Speth and Sommelier of
the Year, Yvan Letzer, and lunch
at the Berghaus Wasserngrat.
Here you can excite both your
gourmet’s and your artiste’s
palette in the company of ‘Artists
of the Vine’ Daniel and Martha
Gantenbein, Joachim Heger and
Gerhard Kracher, ‘Wine Consul’
Geny Hess, and ‘Cheese

Finally, next weekend, there is a
choice of an evening at the
Gstaad Palace with head chef,
Peter Wyss, and a smokers’ lunch
on the Hornberg with Marco
Goerg from the Golfhotel les
Hauts de Gstaad.
