2003.<br />
He has written numerous articles, mainly<br />
dealing with various aspects of insurance<br />
regulation.<br />
Fritz K. Huszagh<br />
Fritz Huszagh began his career in the<br />
insurance business in 1975 as a claims<br />
trainee for GATX Insurance Company/GATX<br />
Underwriters, Inc. GATX acted as both a<br />
managing general agent and insurer of<br />
directors, officers, trustees and fiduciaries, as<br />
well as actuaries, accountants, lawyers, real<br />
estate/insurance agents, and architects and<br />
engineers under E&O policies. He eventually<br />
became Claims Manager, as well as<br />
Assistant Vice President in charge of claims.<br />
While working full-time, he enrolled in law<br />
school for evening classes at Chicago-Kent<br />
College of Law in 1977, and graduated with<br />
honors in 1981.<br />
In 1979, Mr. Huszagh moved to Thomas F.<br />
Sheehan, Inc., a managing general agent<br />
that handled all aspects of underwriting,<br />
claims management and reinsurance for<br />
two insurers writing various errors and<br />
omissions coverages on both an admitted<br />
and surplus lines basis. In addition to his<br />
responsibilities as Claims Manager/Assistant<br />
Vice President for Claims, he was involved in<br />
underwriting and policy review, as well as<br />
submission and negotiation of claims to<br />
reinsurers.<br />
After receiving his law degree in 1981, Mr.<br />
Huszagh joined the firm of McKenna, Storer,<br />
Rowe, White & Farrug as an associate, where<br />
he litigated personal injury and property<br />
damage claims, as well as first and third<br />
party coverage disputes.<br />
He joined Hinshaw, Culbertson, Moelmann,<br />
Hoban & Fuller (now Hinshaw & Culbertson<br />
LLP in 1983 as an associate in its coverage<br />
group. There, he concentrated his practice<br />
on commercial insurance coverage disputes,<br />
both first and third party, as well as<br />
reinsurance arbitrations and litigation. He<br />
has extensive litigation experience with<br />
errors and omissions coverages; general<br />
liability, umbrella and excess liability matters<br />
involving premises, operations, and<br />
completed operations (e.g., transportation,<br />
restaurant, labor arrangements, sexual<br />
assault, drug ingestion/abuse,<br />

pollution/environmental) and products<br />
coverage (medical, metallurgical,<br />
pharmaceutical, construction material, food,<br />
machinery, paper, sanitation, electronic) as<br />
well as other risks and exposures.<br />
Mr. Huszagh has been involved as a lawyer in<br />
over two dozen arbitrations, involving<br />
insurance coverage and/or reinsurance, and<br />
has also acted as an arbitrator in several such<br />
disputes. He is currently acting as an<br />
arbitrator and also as an umpire in several<br />
pending matters. Mr. Huszagh has also been<br />
involved in numerous mediations involving<br />
insurance of reinsurance disputes.<br />
He has written extensively in Illinois Institute<br />
for Continuing Legal Education publications,<br />
having authored chapters on interpleader,<br />
products liability insurance, general liability<br />
insurance, professional liability insurance,<br />
and reinsurance. Mr. Huszagh has also<br />
spoken numerous times to various legal and<br />
insurance groups, including presentations at<br />
DRI conferences, various Bar Associations,<br />
and at Practising Law Institute seminars.<br />
Louis F. Iacovelli<br />
Louis Iacovelli has held a variety of senior<br />
management positions over his 30-year<br />
career in the insurance business.<br />
He is currently President of<br />
EnterpriseRiskPartners LLC, a company he<br />
started in 2004. Clients include insurers,<br />
surplus line carriers, banks, trade groups and<br />
MGA’s. The consulting practice’s expertise is<br />
in marketing / sales strategies, business<br />
process reviews, and new product<br />
development.<br />
Prior to starting his own business, Mr.<br />
Iacovelli was Senior Vice President at ACE<br />
USA. His responsibilities over a four-year<br />
period included starting and managing a<br />
national MGA that specializing in the<br />
healthcare professional liability market,<br />
developing a product line for High Net Worth<br />
families, and leading a specialty commercial<br />
lines unit.<br />
In 1997, Mr. Iacovelli joined CIGNA P&C as the<br />
Vice President of Business Development. In<br />
that position, he was responsible for the<br />
formation of a national federally chartered<br />
savings & loan trust company. In 1998, he<br />
was promoted to Senior Vice President of the<br />
Agri-Business operations that included Crop<br />
Farm and Commercial Ag businesses. He was<br />
responsible for all aspects of the business
