KWOON CHUNG MOTORS CO. LTD. of 3 rd Floor, No. 8 Chong Fu Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong (Tel: 2578 1178 Fax: 2562 3399)
has been providing a school bus service for the German Swiss International School students for the past year, and again will be
doing so for 2012�2013 school year.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BUS USER
1. All our school buses are installed with seat belt. All students are recommended to fasten seat belt when boarding to ensure
safety.
2. We will implement SMS system, to inform parents in case of delay or emergency for the bus.
3. Bus schedules are tentative and subject to change according to applications. The final schedule will be sent to parents one
week before the school starts.
4. This transportation service may NOT be a door-to-door one, but safe and convenient stops would be assigned to parents.
5. We request that all parents/helpers are at the stop at least five minutes before the scheduled pick up/drop off times.
6. The bus service will be charged on a 10-months basis for a school academic year. Applications for each child must be
returned with your TWO crossed post-dated cheque (dated 20 Aug 2012 and 1 Mar 2013) OR ONE crossed post-dated
cheque for the whole year (dated 20 Aug 2012) to the bus company. Incomplete forms and cheques will not be processed.
7. Refund of school bus fee is allowed, on a monthly pro-rata basis, and will be given to student whom withdrawn from school
or complete bus service cancellation. No selective month(s) of bus usage will be allowed.
To apply, parents must send written notice to us TWO weeks in advance.
8. Individual bus passes will be issued and mailed to the address stated on the application form.
9. In case of a break down, or if the bus is delayed, or left too early, please call Kwoon Chung at Tel: 2578-1178. Students
should wait 15 minutes after the official time, then they should group together as much as possible and hire a taxi to school,
reporting on arrival to the school office so that the taxi fare may be reimbursed.
10. General Safety Rules:
� Students must remain seated at all times. They must not talk to the driver, run, shout or play during the journey.
Obscene language is not permitted on the bus;
� Objects must not be thrown within the bus or from the window;
� No smoking on the bus;
� Eating and drinking in the bus is prohibited;
� Children are not allowed to stand up until the bus has come to a complete halt;
� No part of the body should extend out of the windows;
� Younger children, if not met at drop-off points, are thereafter the sole responsibility of their parents in case of accident
or missing;
� If the bus needs to turn before students can board, they should give the driver adequate space to manoeuvre before
approaching the bus.
� Violence against the others and the environment is strictly prohibited;
11. If student(s) who take school bus shall at anytime cause damages:
Initially the School will make enquires as to which student(s) was (were) responsible for such damage and if one or more
student(s) acknowledge(s) that he/she/they caused such damage, the parents and guardian(s) shall be jointly and severally
responsible for the cost of repairing such damage.
12. For reasons of safety, it has been the practice to have a bus escort on all buses. The bus escort is responsible for upholding
discipline and seeing that bus rules are followed. The cost of bus escort will be included in the bus fee. Parents are
advised that all school buses of Kwoon Chung Motors Co. Ltd. are under 24-hour insurance coverage and in accord to the
law of Hong Kong Transport Department.
