The Professional Development Coordinator oversees pre-service <strong>and</strong> in-service<br />

professional development opportunities for WVABE practitioners <strong>and</strong> tracks<br />

attendance at conference <strong>and</strong> training sessions using the AEMIS professional<br />

o WVABE Professional Development Wiki<br />

The WVABE Wiki provides personnel an online place to exchange<br />

information <strong>and</strong> ideas. A wiki (wick'-e) is a type of web site that allows<br />

anyone to add or edit content via a browser interface. The WVABE Wiki<br />

allows members to post files as well as add <strong>and</strong> comment on<br />

conversation threads.<br />

Anyone can visit <strong>and</strong> view the WVABE Wiki to see all the great resources<br />

found there. To participate in discussions <strong>and</strong> add content, go to the<br />

home page at http://wvabe.wetpaint.com <strong>and</strong> “Sign up” to become a<br />

member.<br />
