The road to the Last 16: Beating Bjerringbro in their final encounter - a real thriller -
brought the decisive points for the Foxes of Berlin, who qualified for the VELUX EHF
Champions League for the first time.
The Germans showed some surprising results like an opening draw at Medvedi and a
victory at Veszprem, but in the tight Group B they had a nervous wait until the end to
reach their minimum objective – qualification through to the Last 16.
