Qualification for the VELUX EHF Champions League 2011/12: French Champion
Qualification for the Last 16: fourth placed in Group D
The road to the Last 16: Rank four was much less than expected for the French
champions – but especially their two home defeats against Kiel and Kobenhavn and
losing at Szeged and Leon were the reasons for this uncomfortable position of one of
the biggest contenders for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2011/12.
Even the surprising victory at Kiel at the start of the competition could not bring more
stability to Karabatic and his side.
