3.2. Operators<br />
The section Air Pollution and Environmental Technology of the Swiss Federal Laboratories for<br />
Materials Testing and Research (EMPA) runs the Swiss Air Pollution Monitoring Network (NABEL).<br />
The network is operated on behalf of the Federal Office of Environment, Forests and Landscape<br />
(BUWAL). The group of Dr Buchmann is responsible for the operation of the NABEL to which the<br />
audited parameters of the regional <strong>GAW</strong> station Jungfraujoch belong. The structure of the<br />
management is shown in Table 1.<br />
During the entire audit procedure Mr R. Rüttimann was present.<br />
