Erik Wißner (Germany)
Graduated from Georg August University School of Medicine in
Goettingen, Germany in 1999. He completed his Internal Medicine and
Chief Medical Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and
his Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at
Mayo Clinic Arizona. He currently is the director of the magnetic
navigation laboratory at Asklepios Klinik St. Georg Hospital in
Hamburg, Germany.
Gabriele Zanotto (Italy)
Chief of Verona University EP-Lab. (with almost 9000 PM-ICD implants,
2000 CRT implants and 3000 arrhythmias ablation) and interventional
cardiac electrophysiology lecturer at Verona University. Chief of

Gerhard Hindricks (Germany)
Director of the Department of Electrophysiology Leipzig University Heart
Center, Germany. EHJ's deputy editor for electrophysiology and
arrhythmias.
Gianluca Botto (Italy)
Director of the Laboratory of Electrophysiology and
Electrostimulation at "St. Anne" hospital since 2001. Fellow of the
National Association of Cardiologists since 1998 and a Fellow of the
'European Society of Cardiology since 2001. Reviewer of numerous
national and international scientific journals, including the European Heart Journal,
American Journal of Cardiology, Heart, International Journal of Cardiology, EUROPACE,
PACE, Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine. An active member of several National and
International Associations Cardiology (ANMCO, AIC-GIA then AIAC IPCC EHRA). Member of
the National Executive of the Italian Association of Arrhythmia and Cardiac 2002 to 2004.
Secretary of the Italian Association of Cardiac Arrhythmia and from 2004 to 2006.
President of the Lombardy Regional Directors of the Italian Association of Cardiac
Arrhythmia and from 2006 to date. Member in charge of the Committee on Accreditation of
the European Heart Rhythm Association from 2005 to 2007 and current chairman for
cardiac pacing of the same commission.
