Both the geometry of the speakers on the front and sides and the<br />
crossover network were developed especially for this type of spacesaving<br />
set up.<br />
The additional bass extension marries beautifully with the open<br />
and extended quality in the mid to treble range. The materials<br />
used for the cone are the same as those used on the MC 100.<br />
The HECO Music Color 200 is available in the piano wenge, piano<br />
white and piano black versions.<br />
If you want to expand these speakers into a home cinema system,<br />
you can now look towards the matching centre speaker, namely<br />
the Music Colors Center 80. This very compact centre speaker<br />
fits in perfectly with the existing appearance of the series and is<br />
available in <strong>Heco</strong>'s new product range in a Piano White or Piano<br />
Black finish.<br />
The new "Center 80" has all of the recognized virtues of the<br />
Music Colors series: compact dimensions, perfect acoustics and<br />
an elegant visual appearance in a Piano finish<br />
The loudspeakers on most compact 5 plus 1 home-cinema<br />
systems usually feature enclosures made from thin plastic that<br />
produces a poor acoustic result when compared to a well damped<br />
wooden cabinet. This was a compromise that the design team<br />
behind the new HECO Music Color Cinema 5.1A system was not<br />
willing to make.<br />
The four satellites and the centre loudspeaker in principle<br />
constitute a more compact version of the MC 100, with two<br />
bass/mid-range drivers fitted in the centre speaker. The satellites<br />
may be positioned on shelves or on the MC 20 stands, which are<br />
available as a special accessory. The associated subwoofer with<br />
its 20-cm bass-reflex driver has a built-in amplifier that allows<br />
levels to be adjusted to create a wide choice of positioning<br />
options.<br />
The system has been acoustically coordinated for the dynamic<br />
reproduction of films and the transparent playback of music. The<br />
HECO Music Colors Cinema 5.1A and matching sub-woofer are<br />
available in a startling black piano finish.<br />
