Ana Laborde U tilizando la fibra de agave que desechan las tequileras, esta joven mexicana ha logrado una fórmula que permite producir prácticamente cualquier pieza hecha de plástico. Ana inició su lucha por mejorar el planeta con una sencilla idea, la de encontrar la mejor forma de producir plásticos biodegradables sin utilizar ninguna materia prima que fuera alimento; la respuesta la encontró en uno de los íconos mas representativos de la celebración en México: el tequila. Cuando me senté a platicar con la fundadora de BioSolutions México y ganadora del premio TR35 de MIT, me sorprendió con la noticia de su más reciente éxito. Venía llegando de Barcelona, donde había obtenido el tercer lugar en una competencia global de emprendedores en la que venció a las tecnologías de Japón, Singapur, Portugal, Estados Unidos y Brasil, entre otras. “Nosotros fuimos los únicos representando a México y sólo uno de tres países representando a América. La verdad nos fue muy bien; vemos que el tequila es algo que se reconoce en todo el mundo”. afirma Ana en un tono modesto. A pesar de estar visiblemente ocupada, me pide con amabilidad que nos tomemos el tiempo que sea necesario para la entrevista. De inmediato deja ver que su personalidad y cultura de trabajo son las de una persona a la que le gusta arriesgar y que rara vez se detiene hasta que consigue lo VIDAS LA EMPRENDEDORA QUE ESTÁ MEZCLANDO EL TEQUILA PARA SALVAR AL MUNDO.
