The export pork products should not be allowed the ionized orultraviolet treatm<strong>en</strong>t or use of meat soft<strong>en</strong>er, which will produce a reverse effect tothe characteristics of the swine meat.D. The export pork products should be handled through hygi<strong>en</strong>ic methods so as toprev<strong>en</strong>t its contamination with any ag<strong>en</strong>ts known to cause infection diseases. Thepacking materials for products should be of hygi<strong>en</strong>ic ones which may not be harmfulto human body. The indication number of the processing p<strong>la</strong>nt should be sealed onthe products and on the package, and also should be sealed “approval mark” on bothof them, that means the products are processed by the proper hygi<strong>en</strong>ic method. Theapproval mark should be the same one that has be<strong>en</strong> notified to the Korean Authorityin advance.7. The exporting country should submit to Korean Governm<strong>en</strong>t annually the reports aboutthe prev<strong>en</strong>tion program against the harmful residual materials within edible meats and theresults of performed exercises in English or in Korean Language, in which should beinclu<strong>de</strong>d the names of inspection institutions and facilities, manpower, annual inspectionp<strong>la</strong>n, inspection methods and results, and the sale volume of veterinary medicines forswine uses.8. The export pork products should be sealed un<strong>de</strong>r the supervision of governm<strong>en</strong>tveterinarian official and be transported safely not to be contaminated by infectiousdiseases and prev<strong>en</strong>ted from <strong>de</strong>terioration, <strong>de</strong>composition so as not to be harmful forhuman health until its arrival to Korea. During the transportation of the products it shouldnot pass through the area where Korea does not allow the importation of swine and theirproducts, except a simple call for refuelling.9. The official veterinarian of the exporting country should issue a Sanitary Certificate inEnglish or in Korean <strong>la</strong>nguage with the cont<strong>en</strong>ts of the following <strong>de</strong>tails, before theshipm<strong>en</strong>t of the exported pork.(1) The points m<strong>en</strong>tioned in the c<strong>la</strong>uses 1,2,3,5 (A, B and C) and 6.(2) Products name, packing method, unit packing quantity and weight (net weight in the<strong>la</strong>st processing p<strong>la</strong>nt).(3) Names, addresses and approval numbers of the s<strong>la</strong>ughter house, processing p<strong>la</strong>nts andstorage houses.(4) - Carcasses swine meat: period of s<strong>la</strong>ughter (dates of beginning and finishing).Oficina Económica y Comercial <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> Embajada <strong>de</strong> España <strong>en</strong> Seúl. 69
