In last July 27, a total of 84 bids was submitted in the<br />
tenders for supply to regulated customers, a figure<br />
exceeding significantly last year’s, when 38 proposals were<br />
presented. This amount is a record for Chile and Latin<br />
America. Sixty-four of the offers are of NCRE nature, and<br />
twenty are conventional or hybrid conventional-NCRE<br />
projects. This is the biggest tender ever carried out in Chile<br />
and the projects presented indicate a highly competitive<br />
process, so the prices to be expected should be equally<br />
competitive. The information contained in the economic<br />
bids will pass into the public domain on August 16, and the<br />
awarding will take place on the 17th of the same month.<br />
