Situada en el extremo sur del continente americano, Argentina es<br />
el octavo país más grande del mundo y el segundo de América<br />
Latina en términos de extensión territorial. Cuenta con <strong>una</strong><br />
superficie continental de 2,8 millones de km2 y con 969 mil km2<br />
en el continente antártico. La superficie continental se extiende<br />
3.694 kilómetros de norte a sur (entre el <strong>para</strong>lelo 21º y el 55º) y<br />
1.423 kilómetros de este a oeste (entre el meridiano 53º y el 63º).<br />
Argentina tiene acceso al Océano Atlántico Sur y, a través del<br />
Estrecho de Magallanes, al Pacífico Sur. El país limita al este con<br />
la República Oriental del Uruguay, la República Federativa del<br />
Brasil y el Océano Atlántico; al oeste y al sur con la República de<br />
Chile; y al norte con las Repúblicas de Bolivia y Paraguay. Su<br />
posición geográfica le brinda acceso directo a un mercado<br />
regional de 240 millones de personas, que se suman a sus más<br />

kilometers from north to south stretches (between latitude 21 º<br />
and 55 º) and 1,423 kilometers from east to west (between the<br />
meridian 53 º and 63 º).<br />
Argentina has access to the South Atlantic Ocean, and through<br />
the strait of Magellan to the South Pacific. The country is bordered<br />
to the east by the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, the Federative<br />
Republic of Brazil and the Atlantic Ocean; west and south by the<br />
Republic of Chile; and on the north by the Republics of Bolivia and<br />
Paraguay. Its geographical position gives you direct access to a<br />
regional market of 240 million people, in addition to its 40 million<br />
