NCRE RESULTS
Six NCRE projects were admitted to environmental permit process during last September, adding 640 MW. Three of them are of photovoltaic
solar power, adding 422 MW, among which the expansion of Alturas de Ovalle of Grenergy (3 MW) must be pointed out. Two projects are of wind
power, adding 211 MW, among which the San Gabriel Wind Park, of Acciona (183 MW) may be highlighted. In addition, one mini hydro project
of 7 MW was introduced.
In addition, four NCRE projects obtained the environmental approval totaling 280 MW: one mini hydro of 3.8 MW, two photovoltaic solar power
projects for 183 MW, and a wind project of 93 MW. Among them, the AR Valle Altillo Solar, of AR Energia (30.29 MW) and the Tamarico
Photovoltaic Solar Park, of Celtic (153 MW), must be pointed out.
In the last Exempt Resolution Nº 675 of September 22, 2016, published by the CNE, two photovoltaic solar power parks of 140 MW were
declared in construction.
During the same month, the CDEC SIC informed that three projects began their test period for 9 MW: two mini hydro -for a total of 6 MW- and
one photovoltaic solar of 3 MW. In addition, the CDEC SIC informed that three projects began their economic operation: the Renaico Wind Park
(88 MW) of Enel Green Power, the Conejo solar park of Pattern (104 MW) and the Itata hydraulic plant, of 20 MW.
