Y PREVENCIÓN DE LA ENFERMEDAD (P y P)<br />
La Promoción <strong>de</strong> la Salud es un proceso encaminado<br />
a reeducar y capacitar a personas y grupos,<br />
a realizar en conjunto acciones <strong>de</strong>stinadas<br />
al mejoramiento <strong>de</strong> las condiciones y calidad <strong>de</strong><br />
vida, al control <strong>de</strong> múltiples y complejos factores<br />
<strong>de</strong> riesgo.<br />
Es un proceso activo, dinámico, que incluye cambios<br />
individuales y grupales, modificación en los<br />
estilos <strong>de</strong> vida y fundamentalmente la apropiación<br />
<strong>de</strong>l concepto <strong>de</strong> salud como un bien que<br />
cada uno <strong>de</strong>be preservar. A nivel institucional el<br />
Programa <strong>de</strong> Promoción <strong>de</strong> la Salud y Prevención<br />
<strong>de</strong> la Enfermedad (P y P) renueva su enfoque<br />
y las acciones planificadas para su implementación.<br />
