SERVICIO DE ASISTENCIA A PERSONAS CON MOVILIDAD REDUCIDA<br />
AEROPUERTOS ESPAÑOLES<br />
En cumplimiento del Reglamento (CE) 1107/2006 del Parlamento Europeo, se pone en<br />
marcha a partir del 26 de Julio de 2008 en todos los aeropuertos europeos un servicio de<br />
atención a los pasajeros con movilidad reducida.<br />
Esta medida comunitaria supone un gran avance social para las personas con discapacidad<br />
y por esta razón, se han dispuesto todos los recursos económicos, materiales y humanos<br />
necesarios para hacer posible que, en todos los aeropuertos españoles, se preste un<br />
servicio de calidad que garantice que todas las personas puedan disfrutar del transporte<br />
aéreo entre cualquier punto de la geografía europea, sea cual sea su discapacidad.<br />
¿Cómo solicitar este servicio?<br />
1º Solicítelo al menos con 48 horas de antelación* al hacer su reserva o adquirir su<br />
billete a través de su agente de viajes o compañía aérea, 902 404 704 o en la web:<br />
www.aena.es<br />
(* de no respetarse este tiempo de antelación, no podrá garantizarse la calidad del servicio<br />
ofrecido).<br />
2º Acuda al punto de encuentro a la hora acordada. Si no se ha fijado hora alguna, como<br />
mínimo dos horas antes de la hora de salida programada. Avise de su llegada por el<br />
intercomunicador y espere, allí le recogerán. Puede ver la localización de los puntos de<br />
encuentro en la web www.aena.es.<br />
3º Facturación y embarque: Será atendido y acompañado durante el proceso de<br />
facturación y en los controles de seguridad, hasta su asiento en el avión. Le ayudarán con<br />
su equipaje y ayudas personales.<br />
4º Llegada a su destino: Le ayudarán a embarcar y a recoger su equipaje. Después le<br />
acompañarán al punto de encuentro del aeropuerto que usted decida.<br />
5º Al finalizar el servicio: Le agradeceremos que colabore en su valoración si el personal<br />
se lo pide. Si algo no fuera de su agrado, comuníquelo a sinbarreras@aena.es<br />
DIFERENTES DISCAPACIDADES<br />
WCHC Pasajeros privados de cualquier movilidad y no autosuficientes.<br />
Deben ser acompañados a su asiento y necesitan ayuda personal completa.<br />
SI su viaje dura más de tres horas, necesitan acompañante.<br />
WCHR Pasajeros que necesitan ayuda durante el traslado entre la aeronave<br />
y la terminal, autosuficientes para embarcar y desplazarse dentro de<br />
la aeronave.<br />
WCHS Pasajeros que necesitan ayuda entre la aeronave y la terminal y<br />
también para embarcar, autosuficientes dentro de la aeronave.<br />
DEAF Pasajeros sordos.<br />
BLND Pasajeros con discapacidades visuales.<br />

ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY<br />
SPANISH AIRPORTS<br />
In compliance with Regulation (EC) nº1107/2006 of the European Parliament, starting July<br />
26TH 2008 all European airports will offer assistance services for passengers with<br />
reduced mobility. This European Community measure represents a significant social<br />
advance for disabled persons and for this reason all the necessary financial, material and<br />
human resources have been provided to make it possible for every Spanish airport to<br />
render a quality service guaranteeing that all people can enjoy air transport anywhere in<br />
Europe, regardless of their disability.<br />
How to procure this service?<br />
1º Request it at least 48 hours ahead of time* when booking your flight or purchasing<br />
your ticket through your travel agent or airline, 902 404 704 (from Spain) or going to the<br />
website: www.aena.es<br />
*If you do not request it far enough in advance, the quality of the service rendered<br />
cannot be guaranteed.<br />
2º Go to the meeting point at the prearranged time. If no meeting time has been<br />
arranged, come at least two hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Let them know<br />
when you have arrived, using the intercom, and wait: they will pick up you up there.<br />

3º Check-in and boarding: You will be assisted and accompanied during the check-in<br />
process and the security checkpoints, until you are in your seat on the plane. They will<br />
help you with your luggage and personal needs.<br />
4º Arrival at your destination: They will help you deplane and retrieve your luggage.<br />
Afterwards, they will accompany you to the meeting point of the airport of your choice.<br />
5º When the service has been completed: They would appreciate it if you would<br />
collaborate by evaluating it if so requested by a staff member. If you have any complaints,<br />
please communicate them to sinbarreras@aena.es<br />
DIFFERENT DISABILITIES<br />
WCHC These passengers are entirely immobile and not self-sufficient. They must be<br />
accompanied to their seats and they need complete personal assistance. If the journey is<br />
more than three hours long, they need a companion.<br />
WCHR These are passengers who need help getting from the aircraft to the terminal. They<br />
can board and move around the aircraft on their own.<br />
WCHS These passengers need help getting from the aircraft to the terminal and also for<br />
boarding. They are self-sufficient inside the aircraft.<br />
DEAF Deaf passengers.<br />
BLND Passengers with visual disabilities. .<br />
