Instruction Manual McSMOKE RF
Smoke alarms should not be installed in any of the following areas:
Bathrooms, kitchens, showers, garages or other rooms where the smoke alarm may be triggered by
steam, condensation, normal smoke or exhaust gases.
Lofts or other places where extreme temperatures may occur (outside the operating temperature
range).
Near places where the direction of airflow may vary, such as by radiators or air conditioning units,
windows or other ventilator outlets.
The unit should not be installed in dusty areas or very dirty areas,
since accumulations of dust in the smoke chamber can cause false alarms.
Smoke alarms are unsuitable for mounting on walls.
