From time to time, use soapy water for cleaning. • When the red filling indication (10d) for the drip pan (10a) is visible at the top, remove and clean the drip pan (10a). • The water tank should be rinsed out daily and filled with fresh, cool water. • The hot water/steam jet must be cleaned with a moist cloth after each use. 34 Cleaning the central unit Where required the central unit can be taken out and cleaned under running water. For this use no cleaning agent, only water! ☛ We recommend you to clean the central unit once a month. Caution: The appliance must be switched off for cleaning! • Remove the right hand cover (15) by lifting it out of the housing at the opening. • Disengage the central unit by pressing the red switch lever and turning the handle to the left as far as the stop (Abb 1). • Withdraw the central unit carefully from the housing by the handle. • Clean the central unit under running water. Thoroughly rinse out the milling works and the mesh screen. Afterwards allow the central unit to dry out. • Push the central unit carefully back into the housing and engage it by pressing the red switch lever and turning the handle to the right as far as the stop. • Replace the cover. The appliance is now back in normal operating mode.
