Balancing
The balancing of the toolholder minimize the influence of the unbalance on the high speed spindles. A
balanced toolholder allows :
- an increase in life time of the spindle
- reduced vibrations
- improved surface finish
- an increase in life time of the tools
- the use asymmetrical toolholders for over 10'000 1/min
Balancing is performed without nut and set screw.
Quality of balancing
The balanced toolholders are available in the quality according to the table below :

unbalanced toolholder : if the client asks for same toolholder but balanced, it will be done according
to the tabel below
- other quality : ON REQUEST

Equilibrage - Auswuchten - Balancing
The spindle, the toolholder and the tool constitute one unit. The machining determines the additional
forces. The maximum speed depends on all components and may only be determined by the
manufacturer on the machine, taking all parameters into consideration.
