Jacques (Jacqueline), Mirette, Monique (Bernard), Richard (Lucienne) and Huguette (Ronald).
Predeceased by his son Michel, his brother Gerard (Doris), his sister Marcelle (late Berthal) and
by his 2 brothers-in-law Claude Roy (Jeannine) and Marcel Roy (Denise). He will also be missed
by his sisters-in-law; Laurette (Laurent) and Therese (Rolland) and by many nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends. No visitation. A religious service will be held on Wednesday, March 3 rd , at 11
a.m. in St-Paul church (Aylmer).In memory of Lucien, donations to the Heart Institute of the Civic

Sylvestre) of Fyfe Ave., and formerly of Lancaster St., Woodstock in her 92nd year. Beloved wife
of the late Wilfred F. Proulx (1994). Dear mother of Jim (Florence) and Joyce Poisson (Richard)
all of Windsor, Linda Hunter (Wayne), and Bonnie Atkinson all of Woodstock, Karen Piraino
(Frank) of London, Roger Proulx (Joanne) of Stratford and Jackie Czuper (Steve) of Ingersoll.
Loved mother-in-law of Faye Proulx of Windsor and Virginia Proulx of Woodstock. Dear
grandmother of 27 grandchildren and Gi Gi Ma to 35 great grandchildren. Loved sister of Mary
Gorr of Pembroke and Theresa Miller of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her sons Edward and
Robert, 2 grandsons, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Evelyn was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the
Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral
Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Friday 2:30- 4:30 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will
be held from St. Rita’s Roman Catholic Church, 904 Dundas St. Woodstock on Saturday at 2:30
pm with Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment later in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.

Elizabeth A. Proulx, 70, of Hope Gardens, Park Street, Attleboro, a homemaker, died
Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the LifeCare Center of Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Paul L.
Proulx who died in 1986. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on January 13, 1934, Mrs. Proulx was
a daughter of the late Alfonse and Elizabeth (McDuff) Frigon. Mrs. Proulx was educated in
Attleboro schools. A homemaker, Mrs. Proulx was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist
Church in Attleboro, a lifelong resident of Attleboro and enjoyed reading and spending time with
her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by five daughters: Catherine M.
Hervieux of Providence, Paula J. Genereux of Kingstown, RI, Julie A. Gorman of Cape Coral, FL,
Mary E. Quaglia of Cumberland, RI and Carol M. Proulx of Attleboro; two sons: Michael P.
Proulx of Cape Coral, FL and David F. Proulx of Attleboro; twelve grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren
and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Proulx was the sister of the late James Frigon,
Frederick Frigon, Raymond Frigon, Stephen Frigon, Gloria Gurn, Doris Sutcliffe and Barbara
Sayles. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 8:00 AM from the Duffy-Poule
Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. John the
