Réputée ville verte avec ses nombreux espaces verts, Rabat comprend divers
quartiers résidentiels de haut standing et dispose d’un système de transports
développé, dont notamment le premier tramway du Maroc et l’aéroport
international de Rabat-Salé. A seulement deux heures de Tanger et une heure
de Casablanca, la capitale est également desservie par un vaste réseau
autoroutier qui en fait un hub au coeur du Royaume.
Rabat est une plateforme culturelle de premier ordre, puisqu’elle abrite
le Théâtre National Mohammed V et diverses galeries; en particulier
Bab Er-Rouah, Bab El-Kébir et Mohamed El-Fassi, outre la Bibliothèque
Nationale, le Musée des Arts Contemporains et le futur Grand Théâtre
de Rabat conçu par Zaha Hadid. Depuis plusieurs années, la ville accueille
de prestigieuses manifestations culturelles et sportives comme le Festival
Mawazine et le Trophée Hassan II de Golf.

Known as a green city with many lush, verdant spaces, Rabat has several
high-end residential neighbourhoods and a sophisticated transport system,
including Morocco’s first tramway and the Rabat-Salé international airport.
Only two hours away from Tangier and one hour from Casablanca, the capital
city is also served by an extensive motorway network, re-enforcing its position
as the heart of the Kingdom.
Rabat is a first-class cultural destination, home not only to the Mohammed V
National Theatre and various galleries including Bab Er-Rouah, Bab El-Kebir and
Mohamed El-Fassi, but also the National Library, the Museum of Contemporary
Arts and the future Rabat Grand Theatre, designed by Zaha Hadid. For several
years, the city has welcomed prestigious cultural and sporting events such as
the Mawazine Festival and the Hassan II Golf Trophy.
