Les sites <strong>de</strong> soins palliatifs soutiennent <strong>et</strong> facilitent la qualité <strong>de</strong> vie <strong>de</strong>s<br />
a<strong>du</strong>ltes <strong>et</strong> <strong>de</strong>s enfants infectés <strong>par</strong> <strong>le</strong> <strong>VIH</strong>. Ces services comprennent <strong>le</strong><br />
soulagement <strong>de</strong> la dou<strong>le</strong>ur <strong>et</strong> <strong>de</strong>s symptômes en fin <strong>de</strong> vie, mais cherchent<br />
éga<strong>le</strong>ment à adresser <strong>le</strong>s besoins cliniques, psychologiques, spirituels en<br />
matière <strong>de</strong> prévention.<br />

Les tab<strong>le</strong>aux suivants énumèrent <strong>le</strong>s établissements qui utilisent <strong>le</strong> MESI, <strong>par</strong><br />
réseau <strong>et</strong> <strong>par</strong> dé<strong>par</strong>tement. Il y a plus d’établissements dans <strong>le</strong> dé<strong>par</strong>tement<br />
<strong>de</strong> l’Ouest, avec un total <strong>de</strong> 55 à rapporter sur <strong>le</strong> MESI. Le dé<strong>par</strong>tement <strong>du</strong><br />
Sud compte 13 établissement, l’Artibonite : 12, <strong>et</strong> <strong>le</strong> dé<strong>par</strong>tement <strong>du</strong> Nord :<br />
