You can solve many common Ice Maker problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. Try the suggestions<br />

below to see if you can solve the problem before calling the servicer.<br />

1) The Ice Maker does not<br />

operate.<br />

2) The ice is not big<br />

enough or melts too<br />

quickly.<br />

3) Ice Maker Alarming<br />

4) Vibrations<br />

5) Noise<br />

PROBLEM<br />

6) Water leakage from<br />

ice maker.<br />

POSSIBLE CAUSE<br />

• Not plugged in<br />

• The appliance is turned off<br />

• The circuit breaker tripped or fuse has<br />

been blown.<br />

• The ambient temperature is too high.<br />

• The door is opened too often.<br />

• The door is not closed completely.<br />

• The door gasket does not seal properly.<br />

• Set the incorrect mode<br />

• Too much dust on the condenser<br />

• Outside water tank is full<br />

• Not enough water<br />

• Check to assure that the Ice Maker is<br />

level.<br />

• The rattling noise may come from the<br />

flow of the refrigerant, which is normal.<br />

• As each cycle ends, you may hear<br />

gurgling sounds caused by the flow of<br />

refrigerant in your Ice Maker.<br />

• Contraction and expansion of the inside<br />
