SALON trade show
Heavent Paris 2009 :
Green » (lire p. 11). À l’extérieur,
1 000 m 2 d’espace étaient disponibles
pour « exposer l’inexposable ». À l’image
de la nouvelle structure haut de gamme
Absolute de GL events (lire page 15).
Pour son édition 2009, plus qu’un
salon, Heavent aura également été un
carrefour d’échanges pour tous les
professionnels qui conçoivent, créent
et réalisent événements, expositions
et congrès. En outre, pour répondre
aux attentes des clients désireux de
renforcer leurs connaissances sur les
grands thèmes d’actualité, sur les
nouveaux enjeux de l’événementiel,
Heavent avait programmé un cycle
de conférences, conçu comme
une succession de temps forts. De
nombreuses questions ont ainsi été
débattues. Éco-responsabilité dans les
événements : nouvelles opportunités ou
équation improbable ? Communication
événementielle : quels sont les choix
des annonceurs pour demain ?
Heavent Paris 2009:
more successful
every year
Heavent, the major rendez-vous for
professionals from the event, exhibition
and conference sectors, registered an
increase of more than 6% in its number
of visitors for the 2009 edition.
With 20,000 m² of exhibitions and
>
almost 17,000 visitors, including 6%
from abroad, Heavent is the number
one European trade show for professionals from
the event, exhibition and conference organisation
sector. From 8 to 10 December 2009, the 8th
edition of Heavent pulled out all the stops to
adapt to this new dimension. Its new venue, Hall
5 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, in
particular made it possible to imagine an
exceptional scenography with an area set aside
for each sector of activity: service providers
(decoration, reception, fixtures and fittings, etc.),
venues of all types (hotels, conference centres,
event destinations, etc.), and technical services
(sound, light, video, etc.). In the midst of the
dozens of exhibitors, GL events had a wholly ecodesigned
stand, baptised “Think Green” (see
p. 21). Outside, there was a 1,000 m² area to be
used to “exhibit the inexhibitable”, in harmony
with GL events’ new top-of-the-range structure
Absolute (see p. 15). For the show’s 2009 edition,
Heavent was more than “just” a trade show, it
was also a place of exchange for all professionals
who design, create and put together events,
exhibitions and conferences. In addition, as a
means of satisfying the expectations of clients
who wanted to improve their knowledge of the
major news stories and new challenges in the
event organisation sector, Heavent scheduled a
round of lectures, designed as a succession of
highlights. Many issues were thus debated. Ecoresponsibility
in events: new opportunities, or an
improbable equation? Event communication:
what are the choices facing the advertisers of
tomorrow?
