FASEP Tool for Vocational Training : a solution for long-term
local capacities enhancing
‣ Un instrument technique et financier innovant qui contribue :
- au développement à court et long terme des capacités professionnelles dans le secteur
de l'eau et de l’assainissement des pays en développement ;
- à la structuration de politiques et d’outils pérennes de formation, nécessitant des sources
de financement au-delà de l'impulsion initiale ;
- à l’amélioration de la gestion et de l’exploitation des infrastructures d’eau et
d’assainissement, et de la gouvernance des services d’eau ;
- à la transmission de savoir-faire et de compétences entre experts français et locaux.
‣ An innovative technical and financial tool which contributes to:
- the short and long term development of vocational capacities in the water and sanitation sector in
developing countries ;
- the structuration of long term sustainable vocational training policies and tools, requiring additionnal
financing resources after initial impulsion ;
- the improvement of management and operation of water and sanitation infrastructures, and of water
services’ governance ;
- the transfer of know-how and competencies between French and local experts.
