It is recommended that the mechanics (2 maximum) wear fireproof clothes, these<br />
mechanics will be identified by specific badges.<br />
The rate of lead admitted in the gasoline in France is: 0,40 grams by liter.<br />
The Organizers have settled additional refuel zones in fuel stations marked in the Road<br />
Book and the itinerary of the rally. In these zones any kind of servicing is forbidden, except<br />
the refueling of the car.<br />
9 - RECONNAISSANCES<br />
Reconnaissances are according to the FIA 2011 RRCSR.<br />
9.1 - PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION - SCHEDULE<br />
The Road Book will be available from Friday September 30 th , 2011 at the office of the<br />
ASSOCIATION SPORTIVE AUTOMOBILE D’ANTIBES JUAN LES PINS, for all duly<br />
entered competitors. Every crew will have a free copy which can be sent to them by post at<br />
a cost of Euros 30 for shipping charges.<br />
Additional copies will be available at a cost of Euros 110 including VAT (plus shipping) per<br />
copy.<br />
All drivers will receive a specific Reconnaissance sticker. This sticker must be affixed on<br />
the top middle part of the windscreen of the reconnaissance vehicle.<br />
Competitors must write themselves in ballpoint pen on the time card they receive<br />
with the Road Book all the information (date and time of departure and arrival). They<br />
must also register their choice of Reconnaissance dates. Lack of this information<br />
will be considered as an infrigment.<br />
The duration of reconnaissances is two days maximum (see APPENDIX 2).<br />
It is specified that reconnaissance is not practice, all road traffic laws are to be fully<br />
respected. Controls will be made both before and after the issuing of the Road Book.<br />
A maximum of two (2) passages through each stage are authorized. Under no<br />
circumstance special stages may be run in the opposite direction to Rally traffic.<br />
9.2 - SPECIFIC AND / OR NATIONAL RESTRICTION<br />
9.2.1 - RECONNAISSANCE CARS<br />
Recconnaisance is only authorized in cars that conform with Article 20 of FIA 2011<br />
RRCSR.<br />
9.2.2 - PENALTIES<br />
Any infrigement noted will be submitted to the Stewards at their first meeting for<br />
deliberation.<br />
Stewards will consider the application of further penalties under Article 152 of the ISC and<br />
depending on the seriousness of the offense, they may report the concerned competitors<br />
to the FIA and the FFSA for possible additional sanctions.<br />
In any case, the Organizers must submit to the FIA and FFSA the names of each<br />
competitor and driver commiting an offense, to enable identification of regular offenders.<br />
9.2.2.1 - PENALTIES FOR:<br />
- Reconnaisance car does not conform to the above article,<br />
- Reconnaissance sticker not stuck on the vehicle<br />
