CONDITIONS DE VENTE ET ENCHÈRES
La vente sera faite au comptant et conduite en Euros (€).
Les acquéreurs paieront en sus des enchères, les frais suivants :
15 % + TVA soit 17,94 TTC du montant de l’adjudication.

Purchasers pay in addition to the hammer price, a buyer’s premium of :
15 % + VAT, totalising 17,94 %
GARANTIES
Conformément à la loi, les indications portées au catalogue engagent
la responsabilité du Commissaire-Priseur, sous réserve des rectifications
éventuelles annoncées au moment de la présentation de l’objet et
portées au Procès-Verbal de la vente.
Une exposition préalable permettant aux acquéreurs de se rendre
compte de l’état des biens mis en vente, il ne sera admis aucune
réclamation de ce fait, une fois l’adjudication prononcée.
Les acheteurs sont informés que certains lots, sur les photographies ont
pu être grossis et ne sont donc plus à l’échelle.
Concernant les ventes de bijoux, les pierres gemmes et perles en
général, et en particulier celles présentées dans ce catalogue peuvent
avoir fait l’objet de pratiques générales d’embellissement (huilage pour
les émeraudes, traitement thermique pour les saphirs et les rubis,
blanchiment pour les perles). Ces améliorations sont considérées
comme traditionnelles et sont admises par le commerce international
des pierres gemmes et des perles.
TAJAN accompagne les pierres importantes d’un certificat chaque fois
que cela est possible.
Les clients qui le souhaitent peuvent demander un certificat pour
toute pierre non certifiée, et ce en adressant une demande auprès du
département bijoux deux semaines avant la date de vente, ce certificat
sera à la charge anticipée du demandeur. TAJAN se réserve alors
la possibilité de modifier l’estimation d’une pierre en fonction
des informations contenues dans le certificat.
ENCHÈRES
Les enchères suivent l’ordre des numéros au catalogue.
TAJAN est libre de fixer l’ordre de progression des enchères et
les enchérisseurs sont tenus de s’y conformer.
Le plus offrant et dernier enchérisseur sera l’adjudicataire.
En cas de double enchère reconnue effective par TAJAN, l’objet sera
remis en vente, tous les amateurs présents pouvant concourir à cette
deuxième mise en adjudication.
ORDRE D’ACHAT ET ENCHÈRES PAR TÉLÉPHONE
Si vous souhaitez faire une offre d’achat par écrit ou enchérir par
téléphone, vous pouvez utiliser le formulaire prévu à cet effet en fin de
catalogue. Celle-ci doit nous parvenir au plus tard 2 jours avant la vente
accompagnée de vos coordonnées bancaires.
Dans le cas de plusieurs offres d’achat d’égal montant, la première offre
reçue par TAJAN l’emporte sur les autres.
Les enchères par téléphone sont un service gracieux rendu aux clients
qui ne peuvent se déplacer. En aucun cas TAJAN ne pourra être tenue
responsable d’un problème de liaison téléphonique.
RETRAIT DES ACHATS
En cas de paiement par chèque ou par virement, la délivrance des
objets pourra être différée jusqu’à l’encaissement.
Dès l’adjudication, l’objet sera sous l’entière responsabilité de
l’adjudicataire.
L’acquéreur sera lui-même chargé de faire assurer ses acquisitions, et
TAJAN décline toute responsabilité quant aux dommages que l’objet
pourrait encourir, et ceci dès l’adjudication prononcée.
Toutes formalités et transports restent à la charge exclusive de
l’acquéreur.
En raison des fêtes de fin d’année, les acquéreurs sont informés
que le retrait des achats s’effectuera au Four Seasons, Hotel
George V, jusqu’au 16 décembre à 20 heures et à l’Espace Tajan
jusqu’au 20 décembre à 18 heures.
L’espace Tajan rouvrira le jeudi 2 janvier 2003 à 9 heures.
GUARANTEES
The auctioneer is bound by the indications in the catalogue, modified
only by eventual annoucements made at the time of the sale noted into
the legal records thereof.
An exhibition prior to the sale permits buyers to establish the condition
of the works offered for sale and therefore no claims will be accepted
after the hammer has fallen.
Some lots which appeares on the photographies, may have been
enlarged.
Concerning jewels sales, gem stones and pearls, particulary the ones
which are presented in this catalogue may have been subject to some
improvement (oiling for emeralds, therm treatment for sapphires and
rubies, vhiteness for pearls). These improvements are judged as
traditionnal and are admiitted by international gems and pearls trade.
When possible, Etude TAJAN obtains certificates for the important
coloured gemstones. Gemstones without a certificate are sold without
guarantee regarding possible treatment.
Prospective buyers may ask the jewellery department certificates for any
uncertified item two weeks prior to the sale ; this certificate is subject to
prepayment by the requesting party.
Etude TAJAN thus has the right to change the estimate of a gemstone
in correspondance with the information held in the certificate.
BIDS
Biddings will be in accordance with the lot numbers listed in the
catalogue or as announced by the auctioneer, and will be in increments
determined by the auctioneer.
The highest and last bidder will be the purchaser.
Should the auctioneer recognise two simultaneous bids on an object,
the lot will be put up for sale again and all those present in the saleroom
may participate in this second opportunity to bid.
ABSENTEE BIDS AND TELEPHONE BIDS
If you wish to make a bid in writing or a telephone bid, you should use
the form included at the end of this catalogue. This should be received
by us no later than two days before the sale accompanied by your bank
references.
In the event of identical bids, the earliest will take precedence.
Telephone bids are a free service designed for clients who are unable to
be present at an auction.
TAJAN cannot be held responsible for any problems due to technical
difficulties.
REMOVAL OF PURCHASES
If payment is made by check or bank transfer, lots may not be withdrawn
until the check has been cleared.
From the moment the hammer falls, sold items will become the exclusive
responsibility of the buyer.
Transportation and storage will be invoiced to the buyer. The buyer will
be solely responsible for insurance, and TAJAN assumes no liability for
any damage items may incur from the time the hammer falls.
All transportation arrangements are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Due to year end celebrations, buyers should be informed that
collection of purchases will take place at the Four Seasons, Hotel
George V, until the 16 th of december at and at the Espace Tajan until
the 20 th of december at 6 P.M.
The Espace Tajan will reopen thursday the 2 nd of january 2003
