Replacement lighting<br />

Automatic Testing System:<br />

<strong>de</strong>scription and instruction notes<br />

<strong>VOLTA</strong> light fittings are provi<strong>de</strong>d with an emergency unit able to run tests automatically, in or<strong>de</strong>r to check the<br />

working or<strong>de</strong>r of the emergency system:<br />

- Function test (30 seconds): Once a week, it checks the good working or<strong>de</strong>r of components, including lamps.<br />

- Duration test (1 or 3 hours): Once a year, it <strong>de</strong>termines whether the batteries are able to fulfill the<br />

requirements.<br />

When possible, these tests are <strong>de</strong>signed to happen during a period of non-occupancy, in or<strong>de</strong>r to avoid<br />

annoyance. The test result is indicated by the colour of the LED insi<strong>de</strong> the luminaire:<br />

N.B.: After commissioning, the luminaire is <strong>de</strong>signed to launch a commissioning test in or<strong>de</strong>r to check the<br />

good working or<strong>de</strong>r of components and the emergency duration. This test will run from 5 to 30 days after the<br />

commissioning of luminaires.<br />

- WARNING: AFTER COMMISSIONING, DO NOT FORGET TO RECONNECT THE BATTERY.<br />

- AFTER EACH RELAMPING, RECONNECT THE CONNECTOR AND PUSH THE RED BUTTON TO<br />

LAUNCH A 30 SECONDS AUTO-TEST. THE LED LIGHT MUST THEN GO PERMANENT GREEN.<br />
