g) Controllo della tensione residua<br />
La seguente procedura è applicabile ai<br />
generatori muniti di regolatore elettronico<br />
e deve essere applicata nell’eventualità<br />
che il generatore non si autoecciti<br />
(in tale condizione, pur ruotando alla<br />
velocità nominale, non è presente tensione<br />
nella morsettiera principale del generatore):<br />
-) con il generatore fermo, rimuovere il<br />
coperchio di chiusura della scatola morsetti<br />
-) predisporre due terminali collegati ad<br />
una batteria da 12 Vdc con in serie una<br />
resistenza da 30 Ω<br />
-) individuare con l’ausilio degli schemi<br />
elettrici forniti da Mecc Alte, i morsetti<br />
“+” e “-“ del regolatore elettronico<br />
-) avviare il generatore<br />
-) applicare per un istante i due terminali<br />
ai morsetti precedentemente individuati<br />
facendo molta attenzione nel rispettare<br />
le polarità (morsetto “+” del regolatore<br />
con morsetto “+” della batteria, morsetto<br />
“- del regolatore con morsetto “-” della<br />
batteria)<br />
-) verificare con un voltmetro o con la<br />
relativa strumentazione da quadro, che<br />
il generatore generi la tensione nominale<br />
prevista nella targhetta.<br />

g) Check of residual voltage<br />
For generators equipped with an electronic<br />
regulator, you must perform the<br />
following procedure. This must be applied<br />
to ensure that the generator is not<br />
over-excited (in such a condition,<br />
though it still rotates at nominal velocity,<br />
no voltage is present in the generator’s<br />
main terminal board):<br />
-) When the generator is switched off,<br />
remove lid from the terminals case<br />
-) Connect two connecting wires to a 12<br />
Vdc battery with a 30Ω in-series resistance<br />
-) Follow the electrical diagrams supplied<br />
by Mecc Alte, to locate positive<br />
and negative terminals of electronic regulator<br />
-) Start generator<br />
-) Connect, only for a moment, the two<br />
connecting wires to the previously located<br />
terminals. Make sure to match polarities<br />
(positive terminal of regulator with<br />
positive terminal of battery, negative terminal<br />
of regulator with negative terminal<br />
of battery)<br />
-) Use a voltmeter or the right instrument<br />
panel, to check whether the generator<br />
is producing the nominal voltage<br />
indicated on the plate.<br />
