D GB F I I F4.6 Transmitter pairing5.2 Setting and measuring the wheel sizeGBDThe speed and cadence signals (Option: Item no.7702) will be transmitted digitally and encoded toyour computer. This technology is less prone toproblems than analogue transmission. This way, when riding in a group there are no data overlaps(cross talk). So that the computer acquires thedigital encodings from the transmitter, a pairingmust be made:ATTENTION: The time window for pairing is5 minutes. If you do not start cycling duringthese 5 minutes, no pairing takes place.Speed and cadence are not displayed. The pairing then has to be repeated:B Place the computer back into the handlebarholder ORB press the buttons C + M together. You must set the wheel size (wheel roll circumference)of your bike so that your VDO computercan measure correctly. There are 2 ways ofdoing this:5.2.1 Setting using tyre tablestep 1 Place the computer into the handlebarholder. The display for the speed and the cadencenow flashes.
