A wireless network (Wireless LAN) environment is a network<br />
environment that enables communicating between multiple<br />
computers at home or a small-size office through wireless LAN<br />
<strong>de</strong>vices.<br />
• The <strong>de</strong>scriptions below are for computer mo<strong>de</strong>ls with<br />
a Wireless LAN card or <strong>de</strong>vice. A Wireless LAN <strong>de</strong>vice is<br />
optional.<br />
The pictures in this manual may differ from the actual<br />
product <strong>de</strong>pending on your wireless LAN <strong>de</strong>vice mo<strong>de</strong>l.<br />
• To use wireless LAN, you have to turn the wireless LAN<br />
<strong>de</strong>vice on. Press the + key combination to open<br />
the Wireless On/Off window and set the Wireless LAN item<br />
to On.<br />
What is an Access Point ( AP)?<br />
An AP is a network <strong>de</strong>vice that bridges wired and wireless LANs,<br />
and corresponds to a wireless hub in a wired network. You can<br />
connect multiple wireless LAN installed computers to an AP.
