Le nouvel îlot est appelé à jouer un rôle essentiel dans la dynamique <strong>de</strong> requalification <strong>du</strong> site <strong>de</strong> Droixhe,<br />
inspiré en son temps par le Corbusier puis tombé p<strong>et</strong>it à p<strong>et</strong>it dans la désuétu<strong>de</strong>. Il tra<strong>du</strong>it la promesse d’un<br />
renouveau <strong>de</strong>venu concr<strong>et</strong>, l’espoir visible <strong>du</strong> changement pour les habitants, l’attention accordée au développement<br />
urbain <strong>du</strong> quartier. Le premier vol<strong>et</strong> <strong>de</strong> 108 logements est le résultat d’un processus <strong>de</strong> 6 ans. La<br />
<strong>de</strong>rnière phase <strong>de</strong>vrait être concrétisée prochainement, refermant alors l’îlot.<br />
