• Disassemble your firearm only as far as described in the manual.
Further disassembly should only be done by qualified persons.
• Only use ammunition of the correct caliber, and in good condition,
never use ammunition from an unknown source.
• Store firearms in a clean, dry, and secure area, and separate from
ammunition. Keep both secured from children or other unauthorized
persons.
• Never allow untrained persons to handle or use firearms with out
the supervision of a qualified person.
• Never use a firearm as a prying or hammering instrument.
• Always unload a firearm before climbing over or crossing obstacles.
• The operational safety of the SR 30 is guaranteed by its design, and
precise manufacturing techniques, and the use of the finest materials
available. However this may be impaired by subjecting your rifle
to heavy blows or falls. In such cases have your SR 30 checked by
your Heym Service Center.
• The manufacturer does not assume any liability due to disregarding
the instructions in this manual, improper handling, negligence,
unauthorized parts exchange or other alterations, or modifications.
• This manual should be kept in a safe place. In the event that there
is a transfer ownership to another person this manual should
accompany the rifle. If it becomes lost or mutilated request a new
one from your Heym Dealer or Service Center.
• Before loading a firearm make sure that the barrel is free of
obstructions and excess oil.
