Laporan Keberlanjutan PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara
(Persero)—selanjutnya disebut pula dengan PLN atau
Perseroan—memberi gambaran menyeluruh tentang
upaya Perseroan melakukan aktivitas ekonomi,
program tanggung jawab sosial, dan pelestarian
lingkungan secara berkelanjutan. Dengan Laporan
ini PLN menunjukkan usahanya dalam memastikan
keberlanjutan Perseroan yang menghasilkan kinerja
ekonomi dalam jangka panjang, memberikan
kesempatan yang luas kepada masyarakat untuk
ikut berkembang bersama Perseroan, serta menjamin
pengelolaan lingkungan hidup yang bertanggung jawab
untuk diwariskan kepada generasi mendatang.
The Sustainability Report of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara –
hereinafter referred to as PLN or “the Company” – provides
a full picture of the Company’s efforts in carrying out its
economic activities, social responsibility program, and
sustainable environmental preservation. This report shows
PLN’s efforts in ensuring its own sustainability, resulting
in long-term economic performance, providing ample
opportunity for the public to develop alongside the Company,
and guarantees that the management of the environment is
responsible for next generation.
Laporan Keberlanjutan ini meski dibuat terpisah namun
tidak dapat dipisahkan dari laporan kinerja perusahaan
selama satu tahun operasional yang disajikan dalam
bentuk Laporan Tahunan PT PLN (Persero). Sebelumnya,
laporan ini juga pernah dibuat terpisah pada Mei 2008 dan
Juni 2011. (3.2)
This Sustainability Report is made separately but cannot be
separated from the company’s performance report covering
the last one year of operation, which is presented as the PT
PLN Annual Report. This report was previously published
separately in May 2008 and June 2011. (3.2)
Melalui laporan ini, PLN berupaya menyampaikan laporan
pelaksanaan seluruh kegiatan tersebut secara menyeluruh
dan transparan tanpa terpaku pada pedoman Sustainability
Reporting Guidelines (SRG) versi 3.0, yang dikeluarkan oleh
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) atau GRI-G3.0.
Laporan ini mengemukakan beberapa poin ketaatan (point
of compliance) sesuai dengan pedoman, yang tidak terbatas
pada kegiatan Perseroan saja tetapi mencakup seluruh
kegiatan PLN, satuan usaha dan seluruh anak perusahaan.
Laporan tentang informasi finansial disusun menggunakan
metode ekuitas dan investasi berdasarkan laporan
keuangan konsolidasi yang telah diaudit. Sementara
data atau informasi nonfinansial disajikan berdasarkan
prinsip materialitas serta mempertimbangkan pengaruh
dan signifikansi materi tersebut terhadap PLN secara
keseluruhan. (3.7, 3.8)
Through this report, PLN aims to report fully and transparently
its implementation of all such activities without being
completely bound to Sustainability Reporting Guidelines
(SRG) version 3.0, issued by the Global Reporting Initiatives
(GRI) or GRI-G30.
This report articulates several points of compliance in
accordance with the guidelines, which are not limited to
the activities of the just the Company but also cover all of
PLN’s activities, the business units and subsidiaries. The
report on the financial information is prepared according
to the equity method and investments based on the
audited consolidated financial report. Meanwhile, data or
non-financial information presented is based on material
principles and has taken into consideration the influence
and significance of such materials on PLN. (3.7, 3.8)
