This event will be held at Seasons Hilltop Bistro Cafe, Queen Elizabeth Park,<br />
featuring two events:<br />
The Vancouver Ikebana Association will provide a demonstration showing<br />
how to bring the outside inside.<br />
When: Saturday, April 5, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m<br />
Where: Queen Elizabeth Park—meet in the coffee shop in Seasons Hill Top<br />
Bistro<br />
Haiku Walk<br />
When: April 5th, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm<br />
Where: Seasons Hill Top Bistro Café (Queen Elizabeth Park)<br />
Presented by: Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival & Pacifi-kana (Free!)<br />
Join members of Pacifi-kana for a haiku walk, or ginkō, in beautiful Queen<br />
Elizabeth Park. There will be a brief introduction to writing haiku, then a<br />
walk in the springtime gardens. A pen and notebook is all that is required<br />
for recor<strong>di</strong>ng your observations and inspirations. After the walk, enjoy tea<br />
and sharing your poems in honour of the cherry blossom season.<br />
