PATIENT MEDICATIONS<br />
Dexamethasone: Potent, locally acting anti-inflammatory<br />
and immune modifier. Action-suppresses inflammation and the<br />
normal immune response.<br />
Dosage 16-24 mg (bolus) and then 4-24 mg every 6<br />
for three days.<br />
- Adverse reaction: nausea, dizziness;<br />
- Serious reaction : Hyperglicemia.
