Scott Aero Science è un team di ingegneri all’interno dell’organizzazione Scott; utilizzando i metodi scientifici hanno il compito di realizzare la bici più aerodinamica possibile. Formulano ipotesi al di là del pensiero empirico, sperimentando nuove tecniche per dimostrarle, producendo dati che possano essere replicati in modo affidabile. Per testare le teorie Scott Aero Science, utilizzano il software CFdesign che testa i concetti virtualmente prima dell’applicazione dei bike design nella galleria del vento. I bike design sono inoltre testati con manichini, atleti , ed una serie di variabili ambientali per garantire che i risultati dei test riflettano le reali condizioni di guida.
