MP3 playback via USB
You can connect a USB data carrier with
MP3 fi les with the interface to play back
the MP3 fi les via the car sound system. The
car sound system must be switched on.
Note
Always switch off the device before
connecting or disconnecting the USB
correctly registered and unregistered.
Connect the USB device with the USB
cable of the interface.
press the SRC button on the car sound
system repeatedly until "USB" (or
separate USB connection, an audio
source connected to it may also
• Please note that car sound systems
with MP3 browse mode require information
about the directories of the
data carrier and the fi les stored in
them. If these data cannot be trans-
ferred quickly enough to the car
sound system, e.g. in case of a large
number of directories and fi les, the
car sound system automatically
returns to normal display from the
MP3 browse mode.
