La mancanza di cuciture impedisce la presenza di “punti freddi”,
attraverso i quali, per conduzione, sarebbe possibile la dispersione di
calore.

La sua particolare costruzione consente di assorbire minor umidità rispetto alle fibre sintetiche concorrenti e di asciugare molto
più velocemente della piuma. Anche quando è bagnata, mantiene il suo potere isolante meglio di ogni altra imbottitura, sintetica
o naturale.
Più morbida rispetto alla fibra in poliestere, è facilmente comprimibile.

Grazie a tutte queste qualità, è denominata la “piuma sintetica”, poiché racchiude le proprietà fisiche e termiche della piuma
naturale. A parità di peso e densità la Primaloft ha un potere termico pari a quello della piuma e superiore a quello delle altre fibre
sintetiche.
