Sulla KASTOwin tube A 5.0 si possono
impiegare i nastri in metallo duro,
utilizzabili in presenza di diversi tipi di
tubo, senza dover montare altri accessori.
Il tensionamento del nastro avviene
in modo idraulico. La pulizia è garantita
da una spazzola per l’asportazione trucioli
sostituibile, azionata elettricamente.
La morsa di serraggio e il sistema di
avanzamento della segatrice sono dotati
di guide lineari senza gioco, mentre le
viti a ricircolo di sfere garantiscono movimenti
di taglio e di avanzamento materiale
perfettamente controllati.

At the BI-MU, KASTO presented several sawing machines:
the automatic band sawing machine KASTOwin tube A 5.0,
the automatic band saws KASTOwin A 3.3 and KASTOwin
A 8.6 and the high-performance circular saws KASTOspeed
served by KASTOsort robot.

tubes and for an efficient storage of them.
The most important innovation: compared to
the other KASTOwin models, the direction of
movement of the saw feed is rotated through
180 degrees and sawing is performed upwards
from the support surface. This ensures

efficient, precise sawing that reduces wear on
the cutting tools.
The cutting range of KASTOwin tube A 5.0
for round materials is 500 millimetres and the
shortest possible cutting length is 10 millimetres.
Using the frequency-controlled drive, it is
possible to adjust the cutting speed continuously
between 12 and 150 metres per minute.
Carbide saw bands, of the type required for

various tubular materials, can be used with the
KASTOwin tube A 5.0 without the need for any
further accessories. The saw band is clamped
in position hydraulically and is cleaned using
a replaceable, electrically driven chip removal
brush. The vice and saw feed are equipped
with zero-play linear guides, and ball screw
spindle drives ensure controlled cutting and
material feed movements.
