Secular and sacred texts from across the centuries are given fresh life, and new words and sounds are introduced. (Collection includes SATB arrangement of Quartel’s The Birds’ Lullaby) Sarah Quartel Songbook Upper voices in 2-4 parts, with piano or unaccompanied Vocal score 9780193551053 The Sarah Quartel Songbook brings together a selection of the composer’s best-loved pieces for upper voices, including favourites such as ‘The Birds’ Lullaby’ and ‘I remember’, as well as a new setting of Sara Teasdale’s lifeaffirming poem ‘Refuge’.
