WCMA Tours Welcome More Than 150 Attendees Canton, OH–The McKinley Grand Hotel served as the site for the Wood Component Manufacturers Association’s (WCMA) 2013 annual conference, which included the Wood Technology Expo followed by two days of tours of eight separate facilities in the Canton area. The WCMA represents manufacturers of dimension and wood component products who can supply any component needed for cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork, closets, flooring, staircases, building materials and decorative/specialty wood products made from Hardwoods, softwoods and a variety of engineered wood materials. WCMA member companies are located throughout the U.S. and Canada. Among the facilities toured were: ■ Yoder Lumber Co. Inc., of Millersburg, OH, has been family-owned for three generations. Offering Appalachian Hardwoods, Yoder has three locations and services wholesalers, millwork distributors, the dimension and international markets. Yoder offers the following in varying thicknesses, lengths and color sorts: Red and White Oak, Poplar, Hard and Soft Maple, Cherry, Ash, Black Walnut, Hickory, Beech and Birch.
