Plaats van GDH detectie in de diagnostiek van CDAD 4.2 Studie Gasthuisberg (1) • detectie toxines op stoelgang + cultuur (met eventueel “secondlook” cytotoxiciteit) VERSUS • Triage® Micro C.<strong>difficile</strong> panel (GDH + toxine A) • Terecht positief: cultuur positief en toxine A/B positief (= CDAD) • Terecht negatief: afwezigheid van groei en toxines → standaard voor berekening sensitiviteit en specificiteit
