IDIOPATHIC CHRONIC HEPATITIS -
TREATMENT 3
• Duration depends on activity of inflammation and
level of fibrosis; fibrosis;
at least six weeks
• Evaluation by liver biopsy, biopsy,

• Proceed until inflammation has resolved completely
• Sometimes lifelong dietary support
• Even cirrhosis can be treated if still active
