<strong>Dometic</strong> Tank Monitor SystemOperation7 Operation7.1 OPTION 1: <strong>DTM04</strong> <strong>tank</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> <strong>system</strong> only (fig. 5, page 4)1. When contents inside holding <strong>tank</strong> is below lowest level float switch (1), the green “Empty” indicatorlight of the <strong>Dometic</strong> Tank Monitor indicator panel is on.2. When holding <strong>tank</strong> contents rises above the lowest level float switch (2), but is below the middle levelfloat switch, the yellow “Low” light turns on, and the “Empty” light turns off.3. When holding <strong>tank</strong> contents rises above the middle level float (3), but is below the high level floatswitch, the amber “Mid” light turns on, and the “Low” light turns off.4. When holding <strong>tank</strong> contents rises to the high level float (4), the amber “Full” light turns on, indicatingthat it is time to pump-out the holding <strong>tank</strong>. The toilet <strong>system</strong> should not be used until the holding<strong>tank</strong> is pumped out to avoid potential damage that may occur due to overfilling the holding <strong>tank</strong>.7.2 OPTION 2: <strong>DTM04</strong> <strong>tank</strong> <strong>monitor</strong> <strong>system</strong> with “full <strong>tank</strong>” shut-down relay(fig. 56 , page 4)1. When the <strong>Dometic</strong> Tank Monitor panel reads “Full” (4), electrical power to the toilet <strong>system</strong> will beautomatically turned off to prevent possible overfilling of the holding <strong>tank</strong>.2. Electrical power is restored to the toilet <strong>system</strong> when the “Full” level indicator light turns off duringpump-out.8 Warranty and Product LiabilityEurope:Warranty and Customer ServiceWarranty arrangements are in accordance with EC Directive 44/1999/CE and the normal conditionsapplicable for the country concerned. For warranty or other service, please contact our <strong>Dometic</strong>/Waeco Service department listed elsewhere in this <strong>manual</strong>. Any damage due to improper use is notcovered by the warranty.The warranty does not cover any modifications to the product or the use of non-original <strong>Dometic</strong> parts;the warranty does not apply if the installation and operating instructions are not adhered to and noliability shall be entertained.<strong>Dometic</strong> also warrants to the original purchaser only that the following products will not leak liquidsewage or malodorous gases for a period of five (5) years if used for personal, family or householdpurposes:• OdorSafe branded sanitation hose• Thermoplastic pump bellows installed in the <strong>Dometic</strong> T series discharge pump• <strong>Dometic</strong> DHT-L series holding <strong>tank</strong>sProduct LiabilityProduct liability of <strong>Dometic</strong> Group and its subsidiary companies does not include damages whichmay arise from: faulty operation; improper alterations or intervention in the equipment; adverseeffects from the environment which may impact the equipment itself or the direct vicinity of theequipment or persons in the area.To obtain warranty service, first contact your local dealer from whom you purchased this product or goto http://www.dometic.com/enuk/Europe/United-Kingdom/Customer-Center/ for a dealer near you.11
