fresh air supply set is also recommended. Insufficientair supply can cause down-draught and thereby lowcombustion efficiency and the problems that thisentails: soot stains on the glass, inefficient use of thewood and a soot deposits in the chimney.Refueling intervalOpening of the airvent controlOperation56 min50%Intermittent*Floor plateA fireproof floor plate must be put in front of the fireplaceif the floor is of a combustible material.Dimensional drawingThe illustrations indicate the approximate centre heightof the hole for the flue. Distortions in floors and wallsmay influence the dimensions. Dry stack the fireplacewithout glue for accurate height and positioning of theflue/chimney connection.3. Technical InformationAll products Nordpeis have secondary combustion andare clean burning. The combustion takes place in twophases: First the wood burns and then the gases fromthe fumes are lit by the hot air. This ensures that thesenew fireplaces have minimal emissions of soot particlesand un-burnt gases (such as CO) and are thus betterfor the environment. Clean burning fireplaces requirea small amount of wood in order to obtain a good heatoutput. Use exclusively clean and dry wood.Surround Ronda 160InsertNI-26Material insert Steel/Cast ironSurface treatmentdoor / doorframeHeat resistant varnishFuelWood logs, 30 cmNominal output 5 kWEfficiency 79,3%CO % @ 13% O2 0,07Draught system Air vent controlCombustion systemSecondary combustion(clean burning)Heating area 60-120 m²Flue outletTopFlueInner Ø 150 mm(NB! Safety distancesEnsure that the safety distances are complied with(FIG 1).When connecting a steel chimney to the top outletfollow the assembly instructions from the producer.Ensure to comply with the security distances requiredfor the steel chimney.5. AssemblyAssembly instructions for the insert (FIG 2 - FIG 12)The following tools are necessary:• 5 mm Allen key• 13 mm spanner/wrench• Caulking gun (for the stove cement)1. Ensure that all the loose parts are included (FIG 2):A. Insert with door and heat shieldB. 4 legs with adjusting bolts and lock nutsC. 4 fastening bolts with disks for the legsD. Handle for ash grate and ashtrayE. GloveF. Assembly instructionsG. Warranty card2. Carefully lay the insert on its back. Ensure that thetransportation padding is put inside the insert beforeturning it over, so that the insulating plates in theburn chamber do not fall down and break. Pleasenote that the insulating plates may release coloureddust when touched. Avoid touching the cast iron withdust on your fingers. In case of dust on any cast ironpart, the glove included is well suited to brush it off.Start with assembling the legs (FIG 3) as follows:• Fasten the screws on to the insert with a 13 mmspanner/wrench. The legs are placed as shown (theopening in the legs should face outwards).• Use the adjusting bolts (FIG 4) and adjust the legsto the desired height (X) before returning the insertto an upright position (do not tilt the insert). Theheight depends on the surround.Regulation of leg height (X) for NI-26:From: 20 mm To: 160 mm.• Flue outletNI-26 is delivered standard with a top flue outlet collar.12 GB
