We return to the Vincentian ³ inquest, reviewing established
ideas and rewriting told stories. It is an inquiry in
which art images draw tangents to words, in purely interactive
model of interaction. Vicente does not aspire to more, at
the risk of incensing figure and not force. In his syncretic
spirit, the pages that follow are a subtle ghost which sheds
light on the historical and urban palimpsest. In the work of
each creator, viewed from the issue of the symbol, myth (seems
but) is not black and white.
In this light, Vicente unfolds as a unique initiative in citizenship
training, suggesting that strategies for innovation, a
challenge in various fields, can be imbued with the specific
terroir of profound History of the Town and Country, that is,
there is a design, a tourism and marketing, and an economy
and, of course, a culture that can and should be shaken by
the mythical undercurrents of being here – in Lisbon, in
Portugal, in the Mediterranean, in Europe, in the World.
Considering the prospects, implied than explicit, in the most
common and perishable materials, the most different formulations
of hope, and especially in the fleeting encounter with
the symbols, narratives and arguments which show the Vincentian
sensitivity, Vicente’s program says that reviewing
is believing. Tomorrow begins today, Crás!
and Riga (2010), in which the formal solutions, adapted to the corresponding contexts, were
very diverse.
