We have sung Christmas carols and we have learnt about the way Christmas is celebrated<br />

all around the world.<br />

PORTFOLIO<br />

Along this trimester, we have looked for information about typical things and traditions in<br />

English speaking countries and we have made some projects including written information,<br />

pictures and drawings.<br />

OTHER ACTIVITIES<br />

Spelling Bee<br />

We have celebrated the first round in our school<br />

and our 5th primary and 3rd ESO finalists are Iván (5ºB),<br />

Catalina (5ºA), Lucía (3ºA) and Sixto (3ºB). They are going<br />

to participate in the 8th edition of the Spelling Bee contest, which will take place in March.<br />

Saint Cecilia and Christmas Festivals<br />

Our students Mario and Iván (5th B) and Catalina and Inés (5Th A) have presented these<br />

festivals in both Galician and English languages. Well done guys!<br />

3rd Primary<br />

In our English classes we have talked about nature, physical descriptions and animals.<br />

4th Primary<br />

We have dealt with free time activities, animals and the weather.<br />

5th Primary<br />

We have learnt how to describe someone, how to talk about our life, daily routines and free<br />

time.<br />

6th Primary<br />

We have learnt vocabulary and expressions about camping and nature. We have talked<br />

about wild animals, our city and its places.<br />

English Corner<br />

Along the year and at the end of each unit, we make a project dealing with the different<br />

topics we have studied in class. Then, we exhibit them in the English corner and on our<br />

school´s walls
